What We Offer

We support great teams to become the best versions of themselves, by implementing structures that invite the greatest amount of alignment and team unity. Our approach increases trust, vulnerability and healthy group cultural strength. The world is asking humanity for healthy group cultures who can best Connect, Create & Collaborate for a better world — Empowering your team genius is our goal.

To do so, Culture Garden provides training, facilitation, and consulting for individuals, organisations and communities that are in transition toward more collaborative ways of being and doing together. We help our clients to release old patterns and develop thriving human cultures based in relational wellbeing, emergent intelligence, and flexible, empowered systems. And, we hold space for the (sometimes bumpy!) process of deep change our clients go through as they chart a course towards a brighter future.

Uncovering the Garden

Our introductory workshop supports participants to “see” and explore the landscape of group culture. Through storytelling, structured play, and small group reflection, we support participants to identify and unpack their own expectations, biases, and needs in relation to group cultures.

To do so, we introduce a somatic (embodied) skillset which will enable participants to sense into, identify and unpack their expectations, biases, and needs in relation to group cultures. We will playfully externalize, question, and transform our own implicit belief systems with embodied and creative exercises and guided whole- and small-group reflection, in order to touch on the cultural elements that most support groups to thrive. This introduction supports you to consider our deeper explorations offered in our broader consulting programs.

In this introduction, we use a few case studies from our own recent work with groups to illustrate the ways a group’s culture determines the quality of its interpersonal relationships, while negotiating and distributing power & authority within each group. By exploring the implications of a more “Relationally Engaged” perspective, we outline some of the positive outcomes we’ve witnessed in our own work, while also speaking to the pitfalls groups unknowingly fall into when they do not attend to this dimension of practice.

Finally, we introduce our Culture Garden Philosophy & Values along with our Core Elements guided by the practical use of a variety of social technology Tools & Practices we offer to support our clients’ organisational alignment and healthy group culture.

“Feet on the Ground” Learning

Our Communities & Organisations program is an incredibly comprehensive deep-dive into the landscape of group culture. In this program, Culture Garden supports leaders from communities, organisations and social enterprises to help them to compassionately assess their group’s culture, to notice areas of challenge or potential, and to identify and develop the cultural strengths and practices they need to fulfil their group’s true potential. This program includes a mixture of experiential learning, small-and-large-group practice, and ongoing project management support.

Youth Leadership

The Foundations of Collaborative Leadership

Our Youth Leadership programs provide a strong cultural foundation for youth leaders. They give an orientation to the key elements of group cultures, unpack current best practices, and guide participants on a learning journey through their individual and shared cultural histories and into the relational futures they seek to create. The key methods used are experiential learning, individual, small- and large-group practice, independent inquiry, storytelling, theatre games/improvisation, and dance/movement.

 Charting a Course Together

Members of our Team regularly provide customised support to organisations and communities. We draw from our individual areas of specialisation to help our Clients evolve and transform in the way that best meets their needs. Grounded in our Core Elements, our consulting work often involves: facilitation programs to support our clients to navigate particular moments of change or to investigate important themes in their group cultures; visioning; aligned action planning; business planning; as well as ongoing facilitation, skills development, and project management support.

By empowering and supporting team members, as well as the linkages between members, our facilitation supports dynamic leadership environments where authority is distributed throughout the whole.
